| Problem was the manager, within this chain there were two bars, and the manager was under ringing at least £100 per shift, i.e. he sold four bottles of beer in the bar and a coke, he only rang in coke at £1.20, but this was being doing at least 10 times per shift, during the interview he was questioned about other losses in the business which the police had already investigated, one was the takings that were missing from one complete shift which he admitted to, and secondly tips from other members of staff were missing which he also admitted to stealing. The manager admitted £11,500, which he paid back in full. |
